Biante Model Cars are very excited to present something completely different, the 1:18 Scale “Zapsrat” HQ Monaro Top Doorslammer driven by John Zappia during the 2017 Championship Season.

Simply put, John Zappia is a drag racing legend in Australia. He (along with Zapsrat) is the current Australian Top Doorslammer champion, a title he has clinched nine years running along with a list of other achievements which include; 1 x 400 Thunder Pro Slammer Champion, ANDRA Top Doorslammer 400meter ET Record Holder (5.693 sec) and 400 Thunder ET Record Holder (5.683 sec) so it seemed fitting that the first drag ever produced by Biante should be Zapsrat.

The 1:18 scale replica of this iconic Top Door Slammer is quite impressive to behold. It has been produced in sealed body resin with a removable front engine cover that reveals the impressive gear underneath that powers the record breaking dragster to extreme speeds. Other nice features include the Hossier wheels which include the raised logos on the sides of the tyres and nice finishing throughout. The stance of the model is quite impressive and will display very well. There’s still some work to be done on this prototype sample before it’s “production ready”, but it’s shaping up to be a great model.

Produced in an exclusive limited edition with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity this is a model that shouldn’t be missed.
