The Nissan Skyline HR-31 was Jim’s chariot of choice from 1990, laying the groundwork for his 3rd Australian Touring Car Championship victory.
Built new for Jim at the start of the 1990 season. Over 6 races he had 2 wins and 2 podiums with the HR-31.
In an interview in 2015 Jim was quoted “It was my favourite car of all the ones I’ve driven, even including the GT-R,”
Jim still owns the HR-31.
