Dick Johnson Racing is without doubt one of the most iconic teams in Australian motorsport and at the Repco Bathurst 1000 in 2022, the team celebrates their 1000th championship race start.

In doing so, DJR becomes the first team in ATCC/Supercars history to achieve the incredible feat – and what better place to celebrate the milestone than at the famous Mount Panorama circuit, which holds such a significant place in the history of the team.

Officially established in 1980 and entered in their first Australian Touring Car Championship race at Symmons Plains in Tasmania in 1981 where Dick Johnson raced his legendary Tru-Blu XD Falcon, the team has remained a constant in Australia’s main game of motorsport ever since.

In the hearts and minds of a legion of passionate fans, DJR are Australia’s Ford team. They have raced a variety of iconic Falcons, Sierras and Mustangs with some of the the biggest names in motorsport behind the wheel, taking out 10 drivers’ championships and a horde of race wins, pole positions and podium finishes along the way. And of course, 4 legendary Bathurst 1000 victories.

The incredible design features an image and details of each of Dick Johnson Racing’s milestone races, from race 1, 50, 100 right through to number 1000. Many of the team’s most iconic cars are featured, from the Tru-Blu XD and Greens’-Tuf XE Falcons, the powerhouse Sierra’s right through to the current day Shell V-Power Mustangs along with imagery of some of the star drivers who have called DJR home during their careers and contributed to the milestone.

Also featured in the design is a range of statistics covering the team’s results over the 1000 championship races and includes a list of championship winners, the top 10 winning drivers along with the total wins, poles and podiums for the team.

Printed on 250gsm matte paper stock using offset print technology, it measures a large 1000 X 590mm and includes Pantone Gold Metallic Ink for an extra special finish.

Officially licensed by Dick Johnson Racing, this limited edition print will be individually numbered and signed by both Dick Johnson AM and Dr. Ryan Story AM.
