Nicknamed Venom – our first HQ Monaro Street Machine model certainly packs a venomous punch and is a real head turner. It will definitely command attention in any model collection.

The Holden Monaro could easily lay claim to being one of Australia?s most iconic and most beloved cars that have ever been produced. From its inception in 1968 to its modern evolution in 2001, the Monaro has, and always will have a place in the Australian motor enthusiasts heart. The HQ Monaro was the first model series to make up the second generation of Monaro’s produced for the Australian market from 1971 to 1977.

Other than the body shape and a few other characteristics, our Street Machine HQ is dramatically different to what you would have seen back in the day. There?s been many iconic 1:1 scale HQ Monaro Street Machines over the years and is the most requested model to add to this collection, we’re thrilled to finally reveal one.

This model features many custom options including the newly tooled large diameter retro wheels which feature stacked width tyres front to rear. We have listened to our collectors because the stacked wheel width was probably the most requested feature to add to the range and we’re pleased to have included the option with this model.

In addition to the wheels, we have also included a new engine air scoop and exhaust system along with the bold metallic colour scheme (the pictures of which, hardly do any justice).
Produced in die-cast with fully opening parts, high detail and impressive craftsmanship and finishing, this is a new model that collectors and Street Machine enthusiasts shouldn”t miss.
